CarCollector Policy SMS Program

Program description

The CarCollector Policy SMS Program has two separate options. Account Notifications cover your subscription: guide delivery, content access updates, opt-in and opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests. Marketing messages cover promotional offers, new CarCollector Policyproducts and services, featured website resources, special campaigns, and newly available guides and tools. The program does not send quotes, applications, eligibility results, provider or agent referrals, sales outreach, or third-party marketing.

Message categories

• Account Notifications: Frequency varies based on account activity.
• Marketing: Generally up to 4 messages per month.

Each category is consented to separately. Selecting one category does not enroll you in the other.

Opt-in method

You opt in by checking the consent box for a specific message category on our subscribe page or on /collector-basics and submitting a valid phone number. Consent boxes are unchecked by default. Providing a phone number alone is not consent. Your first message will identify CarCollector Policy and match the category you selected.

Message frequency

Account Notifications vary based on account activity. Marketing messages are generally sent up to 4 times per month. Frequency may vary.

Msg & data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

STOP instructions

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. We will send a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent for that program unless you opt in again.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, be the owner or authorized user of the phone number you submit, and use a mobile number capable of receiving text messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Information collected through the program is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We record the phone number, selected category, consent timestamp, source page, disclosure version, user agent, and, where available, IP address.

Mobile opt-in data policy

Phone numbers and SMS consent data are never sold, shared, rented, or transferred to insurance carriers, agents, brokers, lead aggregators, or third-party marketers.

We may update these SMS Terms. The current version is posted on this page, and material changes apply going forward.
