Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to submit through our forms, which may include your full name, email address, message content, and, if you request text messages, your phone number. When you submit an SMS consent selection we also record the selected message category, the consent timestamp, the page the consent was submitted from, the version of the consent disclosure shown to you, your browser user agent, and, where available through our backend, the IP address of the request.

How we use information

We use submitted information to deliver the guides you requested, to respond to written inquiries, to maintain records of SMS consent and opt-out requests, and to operate and secure the website.

SMS communications

Text messages are sent only for the message categories you affirmatively select. The two options are Account Notifications about your subscription and recurring Marketing messages about CarCollector Policy offers, guides, and tools, each selected separately. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, access, or use of this website. Message frequency varies by category. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Mobile opt-in information

Phone numbers and SMS consent data are never sold, shared, rented, or transferred to insurance carriers, agents, brokers, lead aggregators, or third-party marketers.

Phone numbers submitted for SMS purposes are used only to deliver the message categories you selected and are shared solely with the messaging service providers that transmit those messages on our behalf, which are not permitted to use the information for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function and, where enabled, basic aggregate analytics to understand which pages are read. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention

We retain form submissions and consent records for as long as needed to operate the SMS program and to document consent and opt-out history, and then delete or archive them.

Opt-out rights

You can reply STOP to any message in a program to stop future messages for that program. You can also email us at guide@carcollectorpolicy.com to withdraw consent, request deletion of your information, or ask a question about your records.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to submitted records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim that our systems are immune from all risk.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our content may link to third-party websites for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
